We just came off a three day filming trip on the lowland streams of Northern Tasmania with Dan Hackett
The weather was somewhat unkind on the first two days but the third day turned it on for us with glassy calm conditions and a fantastic rise.
We got to see Brumby’s Creek in all her glory with mayflys popping off all morning long and fat browns rising every few yards. The footage was marvelous and really showed this fabled water in its true glory. Thanks to Dan for showing us around, off to the highland lakes next to try to nail a fish lake brown on the dry fly.
